This is, and should be, one of the most enjoyable stages in the home-buying process. Shopping for a home is a time to be filled with the sense of possibility. Now, to find the home that's just right for you . . . Let's get started, shall we?

Let's Go Shopping For Your New Home: Now that we've done our homework, it's time to get started. The reasons why you want to buy will keep us focused on homes that meet your needs. Knowing the Area: You may already have an idea where you want to live; driving through neighborhoods will help familiarize you with a general area and give us a launching point. Then, we can take you on a guided tour of homes in the areas you have indicated and be able to point out other neighborhoods nearby that you may have missed. If you're unsure, with our vast knowledge of the Greater Phoenix real estate market, we can help point you in the right direction. Either way, this will help us all better understand what you like and don't like.

Finding and Viewing Homes: We search the areas identified as the target areas and provide you with a fact sheet, including photos, for each home that meets your criteria. From this you'll select the top few homes you want to see, we'll set the appointments, make arrangements to pick you up, then go out and open some doors for you. As Greater Phoenix real estate agents, we look at lots of homes on a daily basis. We're able to help you measure the benefits and features, the strengths and weaknesses, of every home we see.

Comparing What You've Seen And Making the Decision to Buy: The fact sheet is a good way to keep track of the homes you've seen and what you liked and didn't like about them - so it's a good idea to take notes and hang on to them. We're more than happy to give you any input, should you ask for it, during the process of comparing and contrasting your favorites if it will help you decide which home is right for you. We can also offer an opinion as to the potential long-term value, based on trends and other key market factors. As a good Phoenix real estate agent should, we make our clients aware of all the positives and negatives regarding a home.

Submitting an Offer: You can, and should, use our knowledge of the marketplace to help you construct an offer. We will take into account what similar homes in the area have recently sold for and point out other determining factors that influence the offer, then help you write an offer that benefits you while at the same time is likely to be accepted by the seller. Not all offers are accepted as they're written. In that case, it's a good idea to have your Greater Phoenix real estate agent professional negotiate on your behalf. You'll also have the peace of mind that your offer has the necessary safeguards so that you're protected.
